SONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION
The Patriot Chest
What is The Patriot Chest?
The SAR Patriot Chest Program is an interactive presentation, intended to compliment school lesson plans on the Revolutionary War and Colonial Period of American History, but is enjoyed by those of all ages.
The program’s purpose is to bring that history alive, while providing participants with a sense of the times and appreciation of the Patriot men and women who founded our nation.
These presentations could include replicas of clothes, uniforms, work tools, cooking utensils, dry foods, toys, weapons, and various items of everyday life from the colonial period and the Revolutionary War.

The Idaho State Society's Patriot Chest includes a boy's frock jacket, a girl's skirt and bonnet, 18th century British & Spanish coins, candle makers and wax, a letter sealer, a compass, tools, locks, edible items and more.
